Topic of the day: Candid Photographs
Yay or nay?
I don't mind so much if a friend takes one of me candidly and shows me, as we can usually have a giggle.. but other than that, I'm against candid shots taken of me.. ESPECIALLY eating!
This sort of came about from seeing a photo of myself in cosplay in a photographers gallery that they shared online cosplay paying an artist for well, art, My assumption is the photo wasn't really aimed at me at all (seeing as you can't see my face but my cosplay and purse give me away just a liiittle bit) but just showing off the stall and whatnot. Not honestly sure why it bothers me, it may be because I didn't know this photographer was there at all? Or maybe it's because he could have taken a photograph of the seller and their stall like other photographs he'd taken, then the seller would also be aware there's a photo of himself and his work floating about in his gallery? Or there's even, and I'm being honest here, slight jealousy that he really probably wasn't even fussed about my cosplay?
Oh, some examples of candid photos I was talking about are these.
Now, these are some I didn't mind because 1. I had full awareness my friend was taking them and 2. They're actually not that horrendous, haha.
(And yes, Tracer did enjoy her chocolate-y goodness, nom).
